Our active projects, past drives, and every initiative fuelled by the belief that everyone is unique and deserving of dignity.
Six ongoing initiatives shaping lives across Bangalore — from classrooms to university stages, from community kitchens to the homes of our elders, and through government-registered CSR partnerships that extend our reach.
Gyaan — the Sanskrit word for knowledge — is the heart of this initiative. Project Gyaan brings structured learning directly to students at government schools in Bangalore who lack access to quality education resources.
Our volunteers teach core subjects, distribute school supplies, and build a nurturing environment where every child feels seen. No child is left behind because of where they were born.
The Nikshi Tech Talk Series is an ongoing speaker programme that connects students at Bangalore Institute of Technology (BIT) with leading professionals and innovators from the technology sector.
Each session brings a domain expert to campus — covering topics like AI, social entrepreneurship, product development, and careers in tech — opening doors for students who might otherwise never access these mentors.
Every day, thousands of people in Bangalore face food insecurity. We show up daily with freshly prepared meals and monthly ration kits to bridge that gap — one family at a time.
We establish businesses, provide vocational training, and connect transgender individuals with employment across Bangalore — building lasting self-sufficiency in a community often excluded from opportunity.
Every elder deserves dignity, warmth, and companionship. Nikshi Foundation regularly visits old age homes across Bangalore — spending meaningful time with residents, providing essentials, and reminding everyone that they are valued.
Most recently, we visited the Kamalamma Ramakrishnappa Old Age Home Trust in Bangalore — a visit that reminded us: humanity doesn't need a big budget. It needs time, presence, and care.
Nikshi Foundation for Humanity is officially registered with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India to undertake CSR activities — enabling companies to channel their mandatory CSR contributions into meaningful, on-the-ground impact in Bangalore.
Under this initiative we organise community care visits, prepare and serve meals at old age homes and care institutions, and work alongside corporate partners to extend our reach. Every rupee donated under CSR goes directly to those who need it most.
A record of our completed community drives — each one a story of real people, real impact, and the generosity of those who made it possible.
Nikshi Foundation spent time with children with Down syndrome — celebrating their abilities through inclusive activities, art, and play, supporting their families, and working to break the stigma that too often leaves them unseen. Every child deserves to be seen, loved, and celebrated.
A drive to empower underprivileged women in Bangalore toward economic independence — supporting them to earn a stable, dignified livelihood by driving their own auto-rickshaws and breaking into a traditionally male trade, on their own terms.
The Nikshi Foundation team visited and supported the Gerizim Trust — a home for differently-abled children in Bangalore. During this drive, we witnessed children crafting bags and sorting newspapers as part of their skill-building activities. We provided materials, support, and a day of community connection.
A targeted fundraising drive to provide books, notebooks, and educational materials to children in underserved communities across Bangalore. Donations raised in this campaign were used to directly stock community learning centres and distribute supplies to children in need.
Every project grows with your support. Donate, volunteer, or spread the word — because everyone is unique.
